Residents for Bedford Council - Our Community Voice - Please Sign the Petition
As you will note, the new petition now includes the requirement for an address and a telephone number. This is as a result of Halifax Regional Municipality Administrative Order One and the section dealing with On-Line Petitions. Unfortunately, our earlier petition did not have enough information to enable the signatures to be validated - if required. Therefore, if you signed the earlier on-line petition please accept our apology. However, please sign again so that we can obtain our goal of at least 2,000 signatures or approximately 10% of the population of District 21, Bedford, prior to the sitting of the Fall Legislature.
For your information, along with the on-line petition, we also have a paper petition with approximately 700 signatures. Please do not sign the on-line petition if you have already signed the paper one.
Signatures should be of eligible voters, 18 years of age and over, and a resident of District 21, Bedford.
